How BlueLine got started

BlueLine Plumbing opened its doors in 2011, founded by master plumber Gary Whitfield after more than a decade working for larger Valley plumbing outfits. Gary kept hearing the same complaint from customers: vague estimates, plumbers who upsold instead of fixed, and appointment windows that stretched across an entire day. He started BlueLine with one truck, one rule — quote it honestly, fix it right the first time — and a promise to answer the phone himself if that's what it took.

Fifteen years later, that rule still runs the company. BlueLine has grown into a full team of licensed plumbers, a dedicated dispatch desk, and a fleet of stocked service trucks covering the entire Phoenix metro, but every technician is trained on the same standard Gary started with: diagnose it correctly, quote it in writing before any work begins, and treat every home like it's the plumber's own.

We exist to make plumbing repairs the least stressful part of a homeowner's week. That means picking up the phone, showing up when we say we will, explaining the problem in plain English, and standing behind the work with a real warranty — not just a receipt.
